Megan,

All you need to fix it up would be a replacement motor and the appropriate wiring with a foot controller.
The machine is in good shape compared to many I've seen and probably wouldn't need much more than a good cleaning and oiling.

To convert it to a treadle all you'd need a National treadle cabinet to put it into.

Pretty machine.

Price is right and the machine itself is in good shape - find a motor that will fit the old motor mount and put on some new wires with a foot control and it shouldn't be hard to figure out the rest of it.

I would convert it to a treadle since the bobbin winder is intact.

You would need to find a National cabinet or find a set of treadle irons and make a new top to fit the machine.
Very pretty machine!

Ok now another question i have about it, if I were to take the front face plate off would stuff fall out like it does in my domestic?

I don't know this particular brand (badge) but it appears to be a copy of the 3/4 sized Singer 128. It's a long-bobbin machine and I would wonder how difficult it would be to find replacement shuttles/bobbins.

Long bobbins run out of thread pretty fast so they're not as practical for sewing as something with a bigger bobbin.

If you just love it and want it for your collection, that's one thing. If you're looking for a practical machine for all-around sewing or FMQ, I would hold out for a model 15 that's treadle-able. (One that's already treadled, or has a belted motor)

Have fun! :)
