Got the cam off

Thanks to everyone's help here on the board I finally got the stuck cam off my Kenmore. Now, should I oil it real good so it doesn't get stuck again and try putting it back on again.

I am so thankful for all of the good people on this board who are willing to help those of us in need. I have learned so many things from being on this board. I am sure I will have more requests in the future but for now, a great big THANK YOU for all of your help.

Great, I'm thrilled for you.

Thoroughly clean all the old oil off of the cam and the shaft and lightly reoil it. If cleaned good enough the came should be easy to pop off with the fingers.

Yay! I know that feeling when it finally comes loose! I had success with one of my problem children today too. :)

Glad to hear you got the cam off. When you clean & oil the shaft be sure that the little bearing that snaps into the ring inside the cam is moving freely and is oiled. Now you can get the cams you wanted.
