Grandmother/mothers/ now mine Stradivaro 85
Just opened up an sewing cabinet that was my grandmothers that I have as a side table to my bed. being nice and high fits by high bed just right. It has a layer of dust on the back which I knew it would having been closed and forgotten for about 46 yrs. I remembered it was a funny green color before I opened it, it looks great. But at 59 I don't remember ever seeing this Brand any where on my travels.

Pictures? :(
I think someone just posted about another Stradivaro. It was a neat machine. Rodney |
Rodney, I remembered seeing that too because I thought the machine looked pretty cool.
Heather Elaine, Hopefully here is a link to that posting: edit: That link did not work. I think there is a way to post the QB links but apparently I don't know how!!! Someone will probably do that later. Anyway, there are a couple posting for a Stradivaro machine for you to compare. Just plug that name Advanced Search up in the right corner of this page. |
Thanks Rodney and KLO, almost done cleaning my Singer201 and will start in on this one next.

I no longer have it, but my very first sewing machine was a Stradivaro, can't remember what model. I remember it was made of metal and was very, very heavy, but it loved to sew heavier fabrics, cottons not so much. When we downsized to an apt. from a 3-bedroom house, some things had to go and one was my Stradivaro, but hopefully it went to a good home.
