green & white FW case

I finally found a green & white case for my white FW. What are they covered with and how do I clean it? Mine's got something white and powdery in a couple spots, and it looks like someone set a wet glass on it too.

I started by cleaning mine with a damp microfiber cloth to get in the ridges of the textured finish. Next was spot cleaning with a bit of Goop handcleaner using a soft toothbrush as needed, then another wipeout with the damp cloth. It worked very well for my dirty case. Hope it works for yours.

The inside of the case I cleaned was like paper and water will rub it off. Take care inside the case. I cleaned the outside with damp cloth and Dawn dish soap. After it was clean and dry I polished it with neutral shoe polish. You can test these cleaning methods or others on the bottom of your case. I am going to try the Goop idea the next time a cleaning problem comes up.
