thanks to all for your input. May have to make it to Montanna. Looks like fun.

Rose P there were quilters near us. One with a Featherweight and also there was a plastic bodied something, so the kids did see powered machines. FW lady tried our handcranks too.

I donated a handcrank to Leon and Iris because I knew they did this with them. I think it's so important to expose young children to sewing and hand cranks give them precise control. The power of an electric can be intimidating but you can stop instantly with the hand crank. They also enjoy treadles but those aren't quite as portable.

And we are grateful for your donation, jpwest. It takes some work to get this together and keep them all running.

BTW I may be in Kechi this weekend. I wonder if that Vigorelli is still there. I bet I'll find out.
