Some info that is interesting. I notice that the ad is in the San Jose paper, 1910. As I remember there was a Hales Dept Store in Calif. It is likely a badged machine made by ??

Caroline is right, it was badged for a California Dept. Store. Don't quote me, I may be wrong, but it seems to me like White made this one....
