clean, nice case. $25.00 to $100.00 depending on the market. From the 60's
There were millions (and perhaps more millions) of good machines put out by singer.
So if you wait and are willing to watch you can get one in the $10.00 to 25.00 range.
I'd start yours at $100.00 on craigslist and work back from there.

Unless this is one you are looking at rather than selling? take fabric, make sure it runs and pay what you are willing to.

I paid 100 bucks for my 404 in immaculate condition and am still happy with that price.

In clean, working condition, complete with accessories and pedal they go for $50 to $150 here. Yours looks like it's hardly been used at all, so maybe a bit more. A 401 should fetch a bit more than a 404?

It depends on where you are, how many of the accessories you have, whether it's locked up or works and if anyone really wants one. If what you are showing is all you have, then I agree with Kalamaquilts.

If you have the disks, the manual, the feet, the foot pedal and electrical cord and it everything works, it would go for about $100.00 here in Texas. 401's in the case go more quickly. The ones here that are in cabinets are asking in the $100. - $150. range, but no one is buying them. They have been on Craig's list for weeks.

It's "worth" what someone is willing to pay you for it. Around here there are many many vintage sewing machines, so they don't usually sell for much, if at all. Your best chance it to make sure it sews perfectly and show proof of this in your listing, has most of the original attachments, cord, manual and foot pedal, then list for $120/BO....and wait, but don't be in a rush.

you have a rarer case and also have the plug. It's the case and plug that will add to the collectable value - if you sell to a collector.

right now ones like this are selling on Ebay in the $50- $100 mark (higher if serviced or has lots of accessories), though there listing with asking up to $250. Figure on Craigslist to get half what they sell for on eBay - but one never knows who might be looking.

I paid $50 for mine at an antique mall, then another $15 on ebay to get the plug (along with some other stuff that I didn't need).

Does anyone else notice a separation of the bottom from the head, especially noticeable from the back? It may be an easy fix, but I wonder why that join is not tight.
Here in SoCal, these are fairly common. I missed one right around the corner in a cabinet for free at curbside. Also have watched them on CL listed for $200 sit there for weeks. If, as has been said, all the accessories and manual are included, I would expect a quicker sale at $100-$150 because of the case.

The case base is plastic and often warps with age.

I paid $19.95 for mine a few years back. It was in a mismatched case and took some work, with a lot of help from folks on this forum, to get it fully functional since the built in cam stack was stuck together. It is a nice machine.
