Help! I need some willpower!

How do you say "No"? I went on a short trip to see my best friend. She offered me her mother's treadle that did not sell at several garage sales. Do I need another treadle? No, but it's a White in one of their pretty cabinets so, of course, I said,"Yes". I didn't bring it home - either I'll pick it up or she and her husband will bring it to me - preferably after Christmas. Now I really do need to list the Leader for sale. I didn't look at the White machine. I assume it's flowered Family Rotary. If it's an embossed one, I'll sell it and put my flowered one in the cabinet.

we are all enablers here. you always need another machine!!!

Will power - what is that? I think I need more - the will to make some tough decisions and move some machines OUT.

Actually, I got up the willpower to let my husband list my antique sideboard for sale. I bought it at auction 9 years ago, and have never found a good place to have it in the house after we remodeled. It has been in almost every room except our bedroom at one time or another - and now it's out in the shed waiting to move on to someone else's house. I can fit two sewing cabinets in the space that took up!

That's an incredible story, but this is not Vintage Sewing Machine Anonymous.

I seem to have the same problem. I have a small collection (about 20) to some of those on this board but every time I try to consider selling some of them I always back out. In the meantime I still seem to be drawn to CL, ebay, local estates/yard sales always looking for some sewing machine I think I can't live without. I am hopelessly addicted!!!!!

I am not sure how to say no, LOL I would have said yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!

I wouldn't have left it. I would have brought it home post haste.

Never turn down a free machine. Especially one that you know the story on. Sounds like a wonderful addition!

That one sounds too good to pass up. I wouldn't have turned it down either.
Pictures when you get it please.:)
