Help Identify This Sewing Machine Manufacturer.
 

I have this old sewing machine but have not been able to identify the manufacturer. Can anyone identify.? See attached picture.

Maybe add several pictures of the machine itself. There were many clones made of the Singer machines. Many were badged as department store machines.

The clue is the emblem with the initials AMC. I have no idea what it stands for, but maybe someone here will know. I agree that some pictures of the machine will help with identification.

Attached are additional pictures. I have examined the machine very carefully and can not see any additional markings, symbols, numbers etc., other than the :Logo I initially sent.. Thanks.

WOW, that is a neat old machine. It is sure rusted. It looks like it has the boat shuttle, that was used by early transverse shuttle machines. It looks like someone painted it all over at some point, which will make it difficult to be gotten apart and cleaned up. I tried a variety of sources to see if I could figure out the badge, but unsuccessful.

Thank you for the pictures. I haven't seen anything quite like the second spool pin other parts on the top. I'm wondering if it was some kind of embroidery attachment. I'm not seeing anything to wind the bobbin with.

It may sound strange, but if you could take a picture of the arm of the machine with a UV/Black light and that may bring out some lettering or possibly decals.

I am not familiar with the name, but it is a copy of a Singer 12, of which there were many.
