You'll like it. It takes a regular class 15 bobbin. Don't try to ship it and for heavens sake make sure she takes it out of the table to move it. The weight of it will destroy the table if it were to fall or shift quickly during transport. I hope she is pretty stout. It is a heavy machine. The only comparable in size machine I have come across that is almost as heavy is a Pfaff 130. I have a 31-15 that is heavier but it is also an industrial. Be careful.

Thanks for the information! She will be taking one of her stronger friends with her as she is little and petite! Once I get her to Indiana, I might have some questions for you!!!

Congratulations from TN; my heart was going pitty-pat for you. I am glad you have someone you can depend on to go get it for you. Last year I sent my son to NC to pick up 4 machines for me. Sight unseen. What a thrill. Actually, now that I am remembering, it was five machines--4 Singers and a Pfaff. Anyone want a vintage Pfaff? Talk about HEAVY.......It's a hummer (or are they heavy weight?)
