HELP: Looking for a part- 201 tension piece

Does anyone have an extra of this part? I would really rather not buy an entire tension replacement if I don't need to, I'm sure it might come in handy down the line though. ;)

From my Singer 201-2 it is numbered 45343 and it's called something like the thread guard plate.
From the front:

From the side, you can see the bend in the tail, I can't get it any better:

Thanks everybody!

Anastasia,

I don't have one of those pieces, but I think you could straighten it fairly easy. Just lay the tail across a flat hard surface and gently tap in the center of the bend from the curved side. Should straighten right up.

I've attempted that, it seems weak where the tail attaches to the disk.

Joe is right that should straighten. Keep away from the disk area when you straighten it. You might be able to straighten it by putting just that shaft in a vice.

I don't have a vice.

Thanks, I'll buy a new tension from eBay then.

It's ok I have a bobbin thread guide I need to do something with for my Singer 127. It is really badly bent.

Look carefully at the bobbin winder - this one is bent straight out.

Oh come on you two, quit making excuses and straighten those pieces. You don't need a vise, or anything special.
Just a block of wood, a small hammer and a pair of pliers.

Geeze, do us guys gotta do all the straightening around here ....... ;)
