Help me, please

I have been given a Singer Treadle replica, the serial # NL-K7319171, model # 15-NL. What is this? I cannot find any information. How can I get a manual? Is this worth keeping? Should I donate it? Any and all information would be very helpful. Thank you.

It's a modern made Singer Model 15. Made in China, India, Taiwan, or maybe other countries. Not exactly a replica, but not exactly a true Singer either. Their quality is not up to the original Singer production standards, but from what I've read they can give decent service.

Personally, I'd keep it, but then I've been looking for one.

Could you post some photos?

I would keep it.

I have one DH brought home a couple of years ago and I couldn't get it to sew. If we ever drive to IL instead of flying, I'll bring it to you, Joe! (My DH retired from the ISP in 2009 and was last based in Springfield.)

Lyncat,

That sounds like a machine that needs some finishing touches. If you ever do drive here let me know and we'll hook up over lunch some where. Sadly it won't be our place as there's literally no room do do anything due to it's tiny size and all the um sewing machines in the way. We needed a bigger place before the sewing machines, but now .......... Ekkkkkk!
