Help, Threading BL5260 Vintage Serger

Help! I have a Baby Lock Vintage Serger 5260 and am not threading it correctly. It is not making a chain.
It was serviced and worked but for some reason it is not threaded now and I must be doing something wrong. I do have the booklet that came with this machine, but not as easy to follow as maybe the newer machines. I must be missing something. I took all 4 threads out and started again in the order as requested I do not remember now which color I had a question about or if something I do not see that I am supposed to do. Wish I could get this working again. Does anyone have this machine? thanks
New to this sight and not good on computers so not sure I entered this question in the correct place. I am a senior.

Here's a link from Pattern Review. https://sewing.patternreview.com/Sew...s/topic/117338

With the kind of tension knobs it has, you need to pull the threads up into each one. Sometimes they look like they're in the tension disks, but they're not, you really need to floss them in.

Good Luck!

i learned that stiffening the ends of some of the threads with something like fray check and letting the ends harden/stiffen before starting the threading process helps with the threading.
