Some moron with a welder and some junk thought he was making a sculpture. All he did was ruin a decent machine.

Woe, that is different!!!

SunlitenSmiles 02-23-2012 04:18 AM

does it fold down????? except even if it did the fabric would catch on it........maybe be some DH was resentful of wifes devotion to her sewing machine.....maybe he wanted her to bring home grocries not fat quarters

ok, I will have better humor after coffee

Scakes 02-23-2012 04:43 AM

I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. ROFLOL!

pinkberrykay 02-23-2012 06:10 AM

I don't like it and sad a beautiful machine was ruined.

Caroline S 02-23-2012 08:37 AM

I saw that one also. Poor machine to be disfigured that way. I see there is one bid on it. BUT it is not mine. LOL

jljack 02-23-2012 08:41 AM

Someone needs to save that poor, enslaved machine!! How RUDE!!!

LDNanna 02-23-2012 10:31 AM

I saw that too. I was wondering about the side projection and wondering if it had some sort of purpose for sewing horse tack?

I don't think so Nanna...I think it's someone's warped idea of "art"...

BarbaraSue 02-23-2012 11:19 AM

Poor machine. don't know what it is going for, but if it is called modern art I can't afford it!!

Judie 02-23-2012 03:45 PM

Oh.. I get it.. it's a "WORKHORSE"!!! Now, I would never in a million years do that to a machine, but I do believe that's what that moron was thinking.

Charlee 02-23-2012 08:09 PM

Judie! I think you're right!! :D:D:D

dublb 02-23-2012 09:26 PM

I kept thinking "What???????" I knew that you guys would know! I guess what threw me off was the way it was advertised as a "Horseshoe Singer."

janeite 02-24-2012 05:16 AM

I wondered about that machine. I couldn't figure it out. Could the horseshoe attachment be a kind of bracket?

Quilter Day-by-Day 02-24-2012 05:52 AM

How could anybody do that to such a beatiful machine:thumbdown:

sewbizgirl 02-24-2012 08:18 AM

I'd definitely pass on that one. Some idiot welded all kinds of mess on it. Too bad...

jljack 02-24-2012 08:28 AM

Anybody got a good cutting torch? It would be back to normal in just a little bit.
