Husqvarna 5610

I have just acquired a red Husqvarna 5610, but have been unable to obtain much information about the machine other than it is a European 250 volt machine made in Switzerland. If anyone recognizes this machine and can provide any information, I would love to hear from you. Thank you.

I don't have experience with this particular series because it doesn't have a good reputation on the Vintage Viking Yahoo group. From what I remember it's based on the "Vanessa" series and has parts that break that are no longer available. I've seen a few for sale and have passed on them based on recommendations from posts on that Yahoo group. If you want specifics you could join that group and do a search in the previous conversations.

I have the 5710 and it looks the same from here. Even the same red. She's a good machine but I think it's loud.
See if this link works for the manual. If it doesn't you can email HV and they will send you the correct one.

I had a 110V 5610 that I sold recently. What type of information are you looking for?

I recently sent a request to Husqvarna for a copy of a manual for a machine that is no longer listed because it is so old and the company sent me a pdf copy of the manual.

Thank you for the manual. It will definitely be a great help in getting this machine up and running.

Thank you for replying. I am looking for manufacturing info (ie. production years etc.) - any historical data.
