I Am My Brother's Keeper

I found this in my father's basement.
I didn't think to have it "properly restored."
I just had it cleaned and repaired.
The case was totally rotted. No hope of repair.
I have no idea what the model or year is.

It sews a nifty straight stitch. At top speed, it's a ripsnorter.
there's a dial on top to set the foot pressure for several different types of fabric.

I don't know how often I'll use it.
For one thing, it weighs a ton!
it's much too heavy for the new, plastic case.
i'll have to figure out a way to reinforce that so the machine sits level.

For another, it still stinks to high heaven.
Gotta get some odor eaters for it. LOL

It may be heavy, but Ohhh, it is pretty.

Heavy machines work better. They don't skitter all over the table when you use them.

Patrice -

That is a beautiful pink machine. The faceplate is also a nice touch - it has that industrial, robot look. I hope you enjoy it.
