i found out how OLD my treadle is

I have had my treadle for about 3 years, bought just cuz I wanted it.Its not working and desperately needs to be cleaned, butI wanted to have has a show piece, if you will.
I was thinking of selling it, so i looked it up on singerco.com and found out that it dates from1884
Now I'm conflicted. I should paid to have it restored.

Oh show us some pictures if you like. You don't have to pay anyone. You can do this yourself and enjoy bonding even more with your machine. It will be even harder to part with it then.

You just need to resize them. Which type computer are you using? If it's a Mac I can tell you how to go about that. It's really easy.

Should you pay to have it restored? No.

Treadle machines are simple. I can work on them and make them go, so it's not that hard.

Listen to Joe! He's right. They are worth the "getting dirty" factor of cleaning them. Super easy to clean up and get running right makes owning a treadle worth it.
