Several weeks ago I posted this picture of my new machine. Someone suggested it was a Gold and they were kinda right. It is Home Shuttle (O4) made in 1870 That company morphed into New Home. Can anyone recommend a good video that shows how to take a machine apart and clean it? The wheel turns part way and the needle area goes up and down. |
Your best bet is to post the pic over at the Victorian Sweatshop forum and ask them. You'll find the best people over there. http://www.victoriansweatshop.com/?forum=501752

and they come apart ALL THE WAY!! This is my 1868 (Prototype for your machine) this one was made in the original test batch of 1000-2000 and was not "serial numbered" but it is very very similar to yours. |
