I found it!!!
I have been looking for just the right vintage sewing machine for me. I have had my eye on a 1959-1960 Lady Kenmore model 89 but have had no success in finding one for sale. Well, tonight I found one online and from the pictures (and I know they can be deceiving) this one looks in great shape. Owned by someone Grandmother and it still works. It does not however, have the manual or any accessories.
Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find these things? Mainly I would like the original manual and the presser feet that goes with it. Thanks! |
Make sure the nylon cam stack isn't cracked before you buy it!

Pictures please.....

Cool! I didn't know that was the one that looks like it has a radio in it.
This article says it takes high shank feet. There's some good pictures too. Did I mention i like pictures? http://dragonpoodle.blogspot.com/201...-disguise.html Congrats on finding one. Pictures when you get it please? :) Rodney |

Sorry.....here are the pictures. Was not aware of the cam stack issue but the owner says that the machine is a working one so now can only hope because I have already purchased it.

Oh - I'm seriously having machine envy here. I love the "dashboard" machines, and this one takes the cake!
