Imperial Threading Help
Hi everyone! I need help threading my old 1965? Imperial sewing machine, I have the manual but i'm afraid its not that detailed. The check spring has me confused, I've look on Youtube however I can't find any machine with a similar spring. I've attached two pictures below and I'm hoping someone can advise which path the thread goes through the spring. As you can see there are two loops in the spring, all the manual says is to 'draw the thread up through the check spring'.

Looks like your machine has the provision for threading two threads at the same time. If you only use one thread, then use either the back disk set and the back loop on the spring, or the front disk set and the front loop on the spring. Do not do it like you have in the picture, only use one of the loops on the check spring.
