Industrial Singer

Hello ladies and gents,
I have the opportunity to buy a Singer industrial machine with a tag number of b m 252 and I can't find out anything about it. I have checked ismacs. Any suggestions or do any of you know what this is?

Usually industrial machines are set up to sew one task and that machine is used only for that one task. Example: It could be set up to sewa bar tack on a jeans waistband for a belt loop. It could be to jus hem a jeans let. It could be set to sew collars on silk blouses. No way of knowing.

Thank you Miriam. After a few more emails I learned it had been sitting for 5 years. He said he had never even threaded it after paying $500 for it from someone he met in a parking lot. He got kind of pushy as if there was a real urgency for me to buy so I passed.
