That is indeed the same machine with a different name on it. Do you have a picture of the shuttle and bobbin you could show? Also, if if isn' too much trouble, can you get measurements of them?

yup - that is a White made machine, at lot of the say "AG Mason" on them, but White was the actual supplier of the machines.

Here is my version of the machine

It's one for White - no need to measure, it's the only one with the center pin and hollow bobbins.

BTW - I own a machine for each of the shuttle types sold by Boye in their display case. Nothing else is like White.

Hard to see in this picture, but the bobbin is actually hollow in the center.

Finally found a picture showing the shuttle with the pin inside.

sad story - when I first started into vintage machines, I got some shuttles in with other stuff, and one had a pin inside like that. I was "sure" it must be a broken off bobbin, so I tired to get it out. DH tried too, with no luck. Figuring it could not be used that way, I tossed it. . . . Later I discovered what it was, and that they sell for $20+ on eBay.

Thank you so very much! That really helps me nail down what exactly I need to look for.
