I think I have only had one clone that couldn't free up. It was because the needle bar shafts did not line up right. Since they were slightly off the needle bar would go in the shafts but would bind. No amount of cleaning and oiling would fix that. I've gotten real good at rebuilding 15 clone tensions. I did learn the hard way to buy the right take up spring.

Great, beautiful rescue, Miriam! I so enjoyed her story. I would to follow your posts because I love the old machines but dont have room for them. And it great to see your rescues and you are so knowledgeable about them.
