Just arrived. Brother 140 Electra ZigZag
 

Will try to post photo, I have named her "Marilyn" because she is so beautiful. Sews a great stitch. The manual came with her. Attachments all look brand new. Only one cosmetic fault, the reverse button paint has peeled. Does anyone have one like her? I am so proud and happy. Oh, am now Cancer FREE! Happy dance on two counts!

Hi Jane - I was just given a machine like yours but not quite as pretty and clean. I did not have any user manual or parts and trying to see if it works or is worth fixing. Could you tell me what size/type of needle it uses - I think the wrong one was in it. Not sure if the timing is out or not? These old machines run so nice - hoping to get it working for my daughter! Thanks for any help you may be able to provide!

Congrats on no more cancer. I am picking one of these up today. It needs a belt but when I search for this model nothing much pops up. Anyone know a place to go on the net for it? Thanks I jut became a member here and am loving all the vintage machine pics!!

I have this same model that I inherited from my mother. I need replacement needles. Are all needles going to fit in this machine?
