Just bought a Japanese made zigzagger with templates.

check out my new little attachment. it came with templates, an instruction booklet and a 3 pack singer needles made in west germany. A little bit of international flair for the middle of where. lol http://m.imgur.com/T4yICNZ

Interesting. I've never seen one like that. Did you try it yet?

foufymaus 09-25-2015 12:28 PM

its currently on my 15-91 and I'm currently playing with it.

I've never seen a zigzagger that makes so many different patterns. Tell us how well it works.

That's different. I'm curious how it works. Let us know when you have some samples to show us.

I can't make my Singer zigzagger work. I have a Singer model 201 and a large black zigzagger with aluminum cams, they look like large red knobs. This is suppose to be a rather fancy zigzagger, I think there are three or four different sets of cams for it, four in each. In theory that should be 12 or 16 different stitch patterns. The thread snaps all the time what ever I do to the tension settings, and it's difficult to maneuver along edges of fabrics. If yours work trouble free I am tempted to look for a different one. I just can't affort the Swiss one at the moment, owners brag terribly about the Swiss attachment ;- )

well heres a pic of how it looks. i think i need to sort out stitch length to get the most optimal stitches. lol it would probably help if i used matching bobbin and top thread.

Doesn't look too bad foufymaus, within the acceptable range for utility stiches in my book. With different color threads it's easy to see how thread tension and foot pressure should be adjusted at least. Looks promising and I'm already more intersted in a new zigzagger gadget :)

thanks, it's an interesting little gadget. i literally did a little dance of joy when i found it.

I haven't seen that either. Looks like it works well.

Mickey2: I've only played with your style once. It took some fiddling to produce decent stitches but it did work.
