Kenmore Rotarty 117 560?

Can someone tell me how to thread the machine? I think I have the upper threaded right but cannot figure out what to do with the bobbin. When I try to draw the thread up it breaks my upper thread. Can someone help please.
Also does anyone know what size needle I should use?
Thank you in advance.

Kani,

Welcome to the QB forum.

I believe your machine uses the 15x1 needles. It will go in flat to the right and thread left to right.
It uses a larger diameter but narrower bobbin.

The threading is fairly normal but the hand wheel rotates AWAY from you, opposite most other machines. If you turn it towards you the thread will break.

Here is an owners manual download: { http://pages.sewing-machine-manuals....1834166/1.html }
About half way down you can buy the printed or a download. I suggest the printed version. I've not found a free .pdf yet.
