Got this little knmore for $10, nice dust collecter in quiltin rm. Came with a cover/case but no foot pedal or manual. I have not been able to find info on this. Any help? Thanks

It looks like a toy machine from the late 40's/early 50's - cute! :)

Is there a bobbin case underneath? I'm guessing it's probably a chain-stitcher. Is it possibly battery powered? When you turn the handwheel, does the needle move up and down?

I have only seen on eother in an antique mall and it had a foot pedal. It sits atop of my closets in sewing rm so will have to get down again and check the under side. The case/cover is just domed and fits over the top of the machine.

Try checking the model # on Sears website.

Okay so i am in Deadwood, SD and I shop hopped LQS on the way up yesterday. Met my cousin in Rapid City today, went to Hill City quilt shop, back to Rapid for lunch at Red Lobster and across the interstate to Fabric City (VERY NICE). They have a sewing machine just like this Kenmore (they had no case or pedal either) but it says SEW EASY instead of Kenmore. But they knew nothing about it either. Still lookin for info.

Since there is no bobbin all it does is a running (chain) stitch, like what you do by hand doing a yoyo.
