My sister-in-law just sent me pictures of this beautiful little girl singer sewing machine. Wish I had a little girl that could use it. all daughters are grown, and granddaughters like computers better. :(

I think it's a "Sew Handy"

They're also small enough to collect and put on a shelf.... ;)

Yep, It's a Singer Model 20.

They are really just toys, but they do (occationally) perform a chainstitch.

I have one of the second type issued and even an Electric Version!

If you are interested in a manual and such just let me know.

I've tried to buy a couple at auctions but they go so high $$$. Yours is a beauty.

How cute, I've never seen one of those. Thanks for posting.

very cute. I have 2 old ones. One similar to that one and another from when I was a child. Not for sewing but I still have my little red spinning wheel. Anyone remember those??

looks like the one that Singer gave away when I bought my last new singer in 1988.

I also have one of these machines. It belonged to my mother who would have been 93 this year. If you wouldn't mind I would like a manual as well.

You should get it for your sewing room as a decoration! She sure is beautiful.

mountain deb 12-16-2012 04:02 PM

I would like to inherit that.

I have one of those little Singers from when I was a little girl. It never did work right, but I love it anyway. Mine came in a little brown suitcase, but I no longer have the booklet.
