well I paid a little for it....but it was calling my name. It needs some work. The motor runs but half the time doesn't move the needle. Might just be the wrong belt. I haven't started to clean it or anything yet. I'd like to treadle it but it will have to wait cause I don't have a table it will fit in. Isn't she pretty? And lookie at all the attachments and bobbins that came with her! The serial # is Fr 2282703...anyone know anything about dating her?

I don't know but it is a beauty.
Ohhh, she is a nice one. Hope you get her in tip top shape.

PM Billie. If it's knowable he'll know. He's the resident expert on vintage machines.
She's lovely. Show her a little TLC and you'll have a friend for life. |
Well since she was calling your name , you have to do what you have to do   Glad you listened , she sure is pretty
Very pretty. Machines have been known to follow me home. Ask Billy or Charlee on the Vintage Machine Shop area, they know a lot about everything!!
and I bet you didn't even need a leash.
She's truly a beauty! What fun you're going to have.
The only thing that follows me home are stray dogs that are sweet and hungry........Congratulations on your stray

What a beauty!
Very nice! Congrats!
Oooo she is very pretty!!! :D:D:D
thank you all! She was super cheap so.....haven't showed the dh yet though....and nope no leash required! lol! The handwheel turns freely its just when its hooked to the motor that it doesn't. It needs a good cleaning and oiling I know. The lady I got it from rescued it from the junkyard so I got it at her cost. Now I just have to figure out a table for it! Don't know that I can find or afford a White cabinet so I may have to take one of my two Singer treadles and turn one into a universal table....I'm hoping Billie can offer me some advice there too!
Enjoy your new friend.
Congrats on your stray! She's a beauty.

I looked at the F series PDF and can't exactly match your serial number, maybe the R at the right?? but it looks like it was made in 1910. Congratulations! |

Well, she was calling your name, what did you name her?
She's beautiful! I sure she will get a lot of love from her Mommy! |
I haven't named her yet but I'm thinking Isabella. I'm waiting on her to tell me.....My 15 clone is Vivian (it was my Grannie's so I named it after her) my emachine is LillyBet, my 127 treadle is Miss Sally, and the green White is Esmerelda.....oh and the old New Home that dh got me that gives me fits is Miss Kitty...
