look what I dug up!

many years ago I lived in MI and went to auctions almost daily! Now mind you that was in the mid 90's and I have moved 4 times since then. BUT, I knew I had some tubes of the old Boye needles and just felt in my heart that I never got rid of them. So without a thought, I set out going through stuff in my craft closet and look what I found!
Some of the #'s are faded of the tops, but I am hoping to find a Boye needle chart that might help me identify their sizes and then learn which vintage machine they go to! the vintage needle packs are mainly Pfaff and the jars hold machine parts like screws, spool pins, etc. I knew if I kept it long enough I would need it!! |
gorgeous!!

Wow! what a treasure!

What a gold mine! Aren't you glad you didn't get rid of them? That is why my house has so much clutter, I know I will find a use for something right after I pitch it.

Jacquie,
If you have any Boye 2 1/2's and you're not going to use them, perhaps you might be persuaded to sell me some?????? I have an ancient Kenmore 120-49 that takes either the Kenmore #49 or Boye 2 1/2 needles. I have found zero of either to date. Nice stash by the way. Reminds me of some of my stuff. :) Joe |
Hooray! Maybe you'll need to find a machine or 2 to fit the needles?
|
Oh my - I see a #2 Boye needle container there that would fit my Household treadle machine if you don't have a need for them! Let us know if you decide to sell any of them . . .

That is why I save so many things, u never know when I might 'need' them again, especially if they are sewing related.
