It's looking great! You must be excited to be this close to finishing it.

Are you going to have fabric storage in the new part? I just thought of that because your moving the long arm quilter out there. Out local hospital is having an auction and they have several portable room closets that are tempting me. I'm thinking they will work for clean fabric storage. Or machines.

Looking super! Anxious for you to move in.

Helen, I plan on keeping all the fabric in the house, except maybe that only suitable for backings. I will be keeping the batting out there - I buy it on 30 yard rolls.

Right now most of my fabric is stored in plastic totes that are under the long arm. So they will get moved somewhere else.

Cathy, you will have a wonderful set-up once you are finished! You have both done a wonderful job on your "Machine Shed". I almost envy you, but envy is wrong! I'm very happy for you and your DH!! Well, it's time for supper here, so I've got to go finish up my sphaghetti!

Enjoy your machines and your shed! It's great!

God Bless you and yours.

Jeanette

Looks like a wonderful space to work.

We hauled in the cabinets a few days ago - and I got to work using Glen's "formula" to clean them up. They are about 80 years old.

We had to cut the cabinets apart for the Sink wall - we cut off the one that went over the fridge. It was too long to get out of the house that way. It's very likely they were assembled on site.

When my Dad remodeled the kitchen in the 80's, he re-arranged the cabinets and removed the corner one. That one ended up in the woodworking shop for 30 years, so it's color has changed a bit from the others.

Not sure what I'm going to do for cleaning the copper hardware, but I've got both a sonic washer and a tumbler with steel pins, so hopefully I'll get them looking good.

got them up on the wall - I still need to wax and polish them - and then get the doors cleaned and refreshed.
