Macys
does anyone own a sewing machine that just has the word Macys on it?

No, but I'm seen photos of a few of them. I read that they were sold by Macy's department stores.

That would make sense because in those days many retailers put there name on other items they sold in their store.

I keep an eye out for them, and have seen treadles and electric models - got outbid on a really pretty green one. they one I'm getting is Supre Macy. I've seen Macy's Special, and a few other varitations. All sold by Macy's Department store. |

Macy's NY has some beautiful badged machines on display (in glass cases) in their store. Most of what I've seen there appear to be Singer clones. But nice all the same.
