Macys

does anyone own a sewing machine that just has the word Macys on it?

No, but I'm seen photos of a few of them. I read that they were sold by Macy's department stores.

ManiacQuilter2 05-31-2016 08:36 AM

That would make sense because in those days many retailers put there name on other items they sold in their store.

I'm getting one in July :)

I keep an eye out for them, and have seen treadles and electric models - got outbid on a really pretty green one.

they one I'm getting is Supre Macy. I've seen Macy's Special, and a few other varitations. All sold by Macy's Department store.

Macy's NY has some beautiful badged machines on display (in glass cases) in their store. Most of what I've seen there appear to be Singer clones. But nice all the same.

Nice looking machine - didn't know there were "Macy's" out there.
