Is this what I have?
I found it at the flea market today.
There's a number stamped under one of the drawers.
Is there any way to date this cabinet?

Holy cow. I am sitting next to exactly that cabinet! I got it at a garage sale for $75 because one of the top flaps was broken but my FIL fixed it. It has been one of my favorite things for years.
My top drawer has an inset sliding tray. The middle drawer has grooves to hold something. Do you have the "something"? I would love to see what should be there.

I have been lusting after one of these for about a year now. Sadly, I cannot find a spot for one in either my house or studio. Yours looks great! So glad you found one.

I googled the grooves in the middle drawer.
It's to hold spools of thread.

OMG!!! I have one exactly like that one. I found it at our local thrift store. Paid $35 for it. I absolutely love it.
