Congratulations-she looks great! You w.ill love it. I have 2 a tan and a black. And now they are both in cabinets and I love to sew on them in a cabinet. Enjoy.

I have 2 of them - different colors. They are a workhorse of a machine!

I love my 1st, black 301a. I bought her in a case. The next black 301a, I was lucky enough to find on CL and got her, in a great desk cabinet, with stool for only $100. The next one is a 301 tan in a trapizod cabinet. My DS girlfriend found it on the curb for trash pickup! I had to buy new power cord and bobbin case. Still need to get tension right.
I am telling you all this..because..they have a way of finding a way to your house, so you have to be careful or you will end up not being able to move around the house. LOLOLOLOL |

qb, we both bought our new 301A s at close to the same time. Mines a short bed black too - 1956. They could be sisters! I got much needed advice here too. I really enjoyed cleaning her up and she sews beautifully. Already half way into a small quilt with her! I don't think I've ever loved a sewing machine before, but i do now with my 301!
