Minnesota treadle machine

I have been blessed with a Minnesota A machine & know nothing about it. My mom had a Singer. Always loved sewing with treadle as a child. How do I find out more about this machine. It came in cabinet with attachments. I cannot find any numbers but on the underside is A10. Anxious to get to sewing but don't want to break. Has been setting for years & not touched.

Minnesota was a Sears badge. I've forgotten who actually made them.

Charles Law at ISMACS as a paragraph or two on them. Search Minnesota A sewing and look for ISMACS

Minnesota A was made by Davis and will take a Davis long needle (Boye #10)

I found these pages about the Minnesota A machines in a replica of the 1908 Sears catalog.

leonf tells me to clean them well, and oil everything that moves before sewing.

Very Cool Sears Catalog pages. Minnesota "A10" is a New Minnesota A made by Davis in the early 1910's. A10 uses regular 15x1 needle. A9 uses Davis Long. They both look the same otherwise. The Sears catalog diagrams are of an older Minnesota A made by Davis.
