This little sewing machine has a motor, in a cabinet that needs top refinished. It also has a shuttle with a 6 1/2" throat. I need to make room for a quilting frame. Would anyone be interested. I think it would be hard to ship and haven't figured that part out yet. I might also have some Singer attachments that would fit it. Going to check them out and see if shank is the same. I just wanted to show it to everyone before I list it on Ebay.

And yes, it does run.

Wow - I have one just like yours! It belonged to my mom - she bought it the year she got married. The cabinet is exactly like mine too. Is the finish on the machine original? It looks flat compared to the shiny black I've seen most often. Just wondering if they had come out w/a different finish that year? Good luck w/your sale.

It looks to be the original color, just needs to be redone I think but I didn't touch it.

Beautiful machine with crinkle finish & a centennial model as well. Very collectible. I'd love to have it, but I just have too many & am trying to downsize. Are you sure you don't want to refinish the cabinet & find a little spot for it?..HA!
Sure is pretty!

I would love it w/o the cabinet if you would do that.

Well I checked the shanks on the extras I have and they are long shank. This machine takes the short shank.

I'd love to keep it, but as I'm in a small trailer, if I want to put in a quilt frame unit, I have to clean house. I also have a total of 6 machines in here, lol.

I'm going to try and put picture on here of the stitches. It does not like quilting machine thread. I found out the hard way, lol. It does skip a stitch once in awhile but that may be because the stitch is set larger anyway.

Blue is top thread and black is bobbin

That finish is refered to as a godzilla finish. (True story!)

Cool on the godzilla finish
