Hello fellow vintage sewing machine enthusiuasts! I'm new here and truly a newbie! Mom passed away recently which was the most difficult for me to accept, and among other things she left me this beautiful old Japanese sewing machine which I have never used before. I know I saw the manual somewhere but naturally I can't locate it now that I need it. I vacuumed it and want to take an oily rag to it but before I use it I have to know how to thread it but dont know how. Does anyone have this model or similar machine? I'd really like to talk with you.
I have some pics I'd like to post as well Thank you... Stew |
That is one good looking machine! I do not have the manuel, so hope someone here can find one for you to purchase or even download and print out somewhere. Good Luck!

They have several threading diagrams available, none for the 4100 but some other machine on their lists should be close enough to get you going. I almost bought one of those a while ago. Is the bobbin vertical and straight in? Instead of tucked under like most verticals? |
The VintageJapanese Yahoo group has many Morse manuals in their files. It can take a while to be approved for the group though, the owner seems to go MIA on occasion.

It is a beautiful machine, I picked one up at a thrift store, but it is toast so am going to get rid of it.

Sorry, no help here, but that is one beautiful machine. Try Google for manual.

I have 5 Morse machines, all the way from straight stitch to a 4400. I started refurbing a 4300 today from Goodwill. PM me, and I will help you out.
