The only motor that is slow to start around here is MINE! Difficulty getting busy and getting sewing projects completed. Too many distractions!!! (like the QB).

Sometimes the belts are too tight. I keep them as loose as possible without the motor slipping. This is a common
problem with featherweights. They don't like tight belts. Puts too much side pressure on the bearings.
