Yep, it can be put in a treadle. Been thinking of giving that a try.
I'm gonna start a Whacky Bag with him today. But I've got to think of something to use those big stitches on. So far we like the name Babe the best. As in Babe Ruth, .... he sure hit a home run with me :D Joe |
Really pretty machine! I'd name him "Taylor." (tailor) ;)

Lucky you! I have been looking for a blue machine forever. So far, not luck. Enjoy him, whatever you name him!

He's a good looking fella! I vote for Babe!

My little blue 3/4 machine is probably my favorite vintage machine even if she sews teeny tiny stitches...wish I could get her to loosen up a bit like your fella! My first thought was Lil boy Blue, but Bubba blue is cute, or Bobby blue...

I've been sewing on the blue machine. Making a Whacky bag. I've noticed the stitch length varies. The faster I go the smaller the stitches. So something is needing some attention somewhere. I'll use some more Tri-Flow before I work with it today.
Also I noticed something that gives me a laugh. Every time I start to sew I see a little puff of smoke come out of the motor. I've seen this before, but usually it quits pretty quick. Probably just needs some lint and stuff cleaned out. Joe |
