My cabinet collection is near complete!

With this one, I'm not actively looking for any more.

I bought the stool to go with it almost a year ago - by mistake LOL! I was after the one with the gold colored leg ends, and didn't realize there was also one with silver colored also.

The 319 will go in this one when it's all cleaned up. The cabinet came with a tray for a 301 - and while I've got three 301's in the house, all of them are long bed. If a 301 short bed fell into my lap, I'd take it but I'm not looking for one of them either.

If I ever stumble upon a FW table, I'd add that to my collection, and the other variations of the card table (I have the fw and 301 styles).

Those trapezoid tables ARE nice, aren't they. Congrats and enjoy.

Cool! I didn't notice the shape at first. Given all the variations over the years you could spend a lifetime just on cabinets if you wanted to. You've done some serious research just to know you have examples of all of them.

I like the old cabinets and prefer to sew at cabinet mounted machines. They also seem to come my way more often than portable machines. Problem is I have room for 3 cabinets in the house-the living room is small anyway- and it's filled now. If I add more cabinets I have to find homes for my existing machines. The only cabinet I'm interested in getting is the Deco styled Singer desk with the rounded off drawer fronts or door. Sorry, no pic to show what I mean. I saw a free one along with a couple other cabinets listed on Craig's list in Yakima a couple weeks ago. They were sitting at the curb. Yakima is 3 hrs away and there's always the chance it would have been gone before I got there. If they were closer to home I would have made the drive.

Cathy, Congratulations on your trapezoid cabinet!

Beautiful trapezoid cabinet!

Rodney - do you mean this cabinet?

(BTW - I own this cabinet and machine, but the picture was taken at the seller's home).

There is the other style that looks about the same, but the curved part is a door that opens and the actual drawers inside are flat front.

I've got 6 Singer treadle cabinets, plus one each National, Standard, Domestic (fiddle base) and White

15 Singer electric cabinets plus one White and one New Hone/Free Westinghouse.

I have stools to match 12 of the Singer cabinets.

I've also got at least 4 small assorted cabinet in the shed that I don't intend to keep.

And I have moved out quite a bit of furniture to make room for all this. We never used the other furniture anyway.

Cathy,

Your trapezoid cabinet is beautiful. It really appears to be in pristine condition, either that or you've done some work on it. But it is beautiful!

Congrats!

Jeanette
