That is a beautiful machine. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love the roses on it. The coffin cover is awesome as well. These remind me of my great grandmother. I sat on her lap and helped her quilt two quilts when I was 4 to 6 or something like that. When she passed away the last two quilts were not quite finished. My mom took them to the ladies quild and had them hand quilted them and when I got married when I was 24 she gave me both of them. I am 54 now and I love them just a much as I did when I help make them.

Hi, I have an 1881 VS2. I decided just to keep the wood nice with Old English polish and keep it in it's original antique condition. I do want to take the base off and repaint it, but it will have to be next summer....It is very fun to sew quilt blocks with it and if you ever lose power and have it by a bright window you can still have a productive day!
