My oldest baby. Just wanted to share.

This machine is my oldest treasure. My DH brought it back from North Carolina. I can't wait until he gets the time to refurbish it. It is an 1852 Grover and Baker treadle machine. The wood is in beautiful shape but the machine needs cleaning. It does move freely. Hope you enjoy looking at it.

it's amazing to me how something was built that long ago, but it's technology carried thru with few real changes. And how manufacturing tolerances and machining techniques were so capable!! Thanks!

Love it. Lucky you!

Great hubby. I would want to tell the world too. Lucky you. I look forward to seeing it after the cleanup.
