Necchi in a Singer cabinet?

Hi everyone,
I'm longing to get a pink Supernova Necchi; I would LOVE to have a pink sewing machine, and the Necchi design is so nice...
BUT I promised myself when I started to surrender to this vintage addiction that I would never have an"unused" sewing machine; so if I get a Necchi, I will have to be able to use it. That mean keeping it "on hand".
Because space is becoming sparse in my sewing room (the only place in the house where my husband allow me to pu a sewing machine!) I wonder if I could put a Necchi in my Singer 15-91 cabinet? Of course it would be a bit of a pain to unbolt it, etc. but I would change it only between two projects (the Necchi being a zigzager, it would serve some different sewing task).
So... anyone know if the bed of a Singer 15 and a Necchi Supernova is the same?
Thanks
Annie

If the machine base and hinges match the cabinet you could put the Necchi in a Singer cabinet. However it is a pain in the neck to switch machines and there is a danger of cabinet damage. It's not something I'd do on a regular basis.

You'd go nuts in our little house. We've got sewing machines everywhere but the bathroom and kitchen.

Thanks Joe. I have to think twice about this.
I would love to find sewing machine everywhere in my house... you are lucky to have a spouse who is sharing your addiction!
