Necci Miracle cousins

Since the Miracle says "Distributed by Necci Elna" I thought i'd post a couple pic of a BU with the Miracle..Some family resemblance, but of course, the Necci is more complicated Oh well FWIW.
I obviously haven't worked on cleaning either. Gee why do they rotate on their own?? |
I had to think about why "they rotate on their own". Do you have some ethereal influence on your Necchi machines? Oh, wait! You must mean the pictures!

Not light enough to rotate the machines on their own. Even in Kansas gales. nice
|
Wish I did.. Sadly no.

Is this your first Necchi, Leonf? And that Miracle is really square, isn't it? Very interesting look to that one.
|
That Necchi looks a lot like my Mom's; except hers was black. This is a zig zag-yes? I remember those sideways controls. I believe the top one is for needle position?

This brings back great memories, my grandparents had Necchi/Elna sewing machine shops, in the 40's, 50's and 60's, in New Paris, IN and Sebring, FL. Grew up with those machines. Grandma taught all kinds of sewing and embroidery, he did repairs and actually showed customers how to use them. I think she embroidered everything she owned. And just a couple of weeks ago, my brother brought my mother's Elna to me. Haven't taken any photos yet, looks new, it's going to the shop soon, for a good cleaning. I think it's from about 1951. Thank you for posting this, grandma loved using either machine and she could make them dance across any fabric she was working on.
