Need a case for a 15-91

I need to find a carrying case for a Singer 15-91 machine. It needs to be functional, not necessiarly authentic. (I don't care if it's plastic) I've been looking around, but I can't find any that say they fit the 15-91 specifically. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Walmart sells generic cases, the only way to fnd out if it will fit, I gues is to try it. Best of luck!

The cases WM sells is nothing more than a fancy cat litter box with a latch on lid. I looked at one some time back and there is no hinges for the machine, no walls to keep the machine from shifting around, just an open tub with a lid. Personally I wouldn't waste my time or money on one.

Check you local sewing machine shops. I just got a case for our 518 for $4.00 yesterday. That is my suggestion.

Joe has the best idea. Your best resource would be an OSMG (old sewing machine guy). They are a treasure of needed parts and experience. Oh by the way, I have found that OSMGs can be a little eccentric. Must be from sniffing all of that oil sewing machine oil!LOL

My 15-91 is sitting in a plastic generic case. Most of Singers machines will fit in a standard size case.

All Brands and Jenny at sew Classic both used to sell the plastic cases with hinges for former 'cabinet queen' sewing machines.

Joanne's has a special this week for the wheeled sewing machine cases -- about $35. I got two for old machines I have that no longer have cabinets. There is some extra room that can be used to store a box of bobbins or attachments. Think I've collected about 4 of these so far. Am going to use these old rehabbed machines to teach sewing/quilting to some less fortunate folks so like the wheeled-cases to cart about.
