Need help identifying this old Singer Machine

My sister has this machine and she sent me a picture of it. The picture is not very good, but maybe someone can help me find out where the info on the year is. There is a number that I assume is a serial number "G8038968". I told her that I had a good source (you guys) that would know more about it. I would LOVE to have this machine, but it belonged to her sister-in-law and she is going to see if she wants it back even though my sister bought it from her years ago. Can someone help me find the kind it is and where the identifying year would be located? Sorry about the poor quality of the picture. It's sent from a cell phone to my computer.
Thanks!

It is electric, not treadle.

That is a model 66 with the red eye decals "born" on April 28, 1920. Hope it finds its way to you!

The machine is just like the one my Grandmother sewed on when she made my clothes when I was a child. It is a Singer 66, one of the best machines Singer ever made, very strong and simple, so little can go wrong with it. It easily goes into a treadle cabinet if you want to take the motor off, and a hand crank is also easy to add.

Have fun!

I have 2 of these, both are treadles, great machines.
