Need help on model #
 
A friend has a model #G9252396 singer machine. What kind would that be? I haven't seen it yet but he says it really pret!ty

Alotted on Feb 28, 1922, your friend has a model 66. :)

That would be a 1922 Singer Model 66. Did he describe the decals to you as to color, design?

He just told me it was very pretty, & a nice machine......he owns a shoe repair shop so he probably got it through a customer or something. I don't know anything about that model do you?

:) Model 66 machines are great machines! I'm guessing that your friend's machine has the redeye decals, those were produced from 1904 to about 1925, and are the most common "pretty" decals for the model 66. The machine uses a Class 66 round bobbin.
