Need help with new tension assembly

I need help or suggestions on installing this new tension assembly. I can't get the tension adjusted, is it the spring?

I can't see the spring.

I know that I've seen instructions for that type of tensioner but can't remember where.
It's similar to a Kenmore tensioner so you might be able to do a Google search for that or check out YouTube.

Does this help?

It looks like you're missing the check spring & the base piece that sits next to the machine....this piece has the little protrusion that the check spring clicks against.

The link in cabbagepatchkid's post is for a different tension assembly but it has good pictures of the parts you're missing
