I have never heard of the brand, but I believe Comrie's from Edmonton are the founders and owners of The Brick furniture store. I wonder if they had anything to do with the manufacturing of sewing machines. Comrie's son plays in the NHL.

Hi Snappy,
Someone else had recently mentioned they might be the same family. There is a Comries Sewing Machine Store in Edmonton but their phone number never connects. All I get is a busy signal. It would be very interesting if it is the same family! Thanks for the information every little bit helps!

My heart is still in the right place, and my decals are fair, but a lot of my attachments have sagged.
