Need info for White rotary

I went by a thrift store today and came across a White Rotary. Very nice dark brown crinkle finish. The price was $75.00. Don't know if this is a fair price or not. Also can't find any place on the Internet to look up serial number. (43-227401) can anyone enlighten me. I was tempted to buy it. Will go back tomorrow. They said they would have two more machine out by then.

I have a White Rotary 77 which kind of sounds like this machine. I wouldn't pay that much for it, but that's me.

Searching, searching. Finally found a photo. What I saw at thrift store was a model 43. Still can't a place to date the machine. It is a beauty with book and some attachments and weighs a "ton".

Husqvarna's number is 800-446-2333 If they still have it I would buy it if it works! Let me know if you got it. I also would like to know what attachtments it has with it as mine has none.

I have a White Rotary 43 also. The best i could date it was that the crinkle finish 43's were made from 1942-1949.
I love my mchine, but I got a very good deal on it.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like it, want it, lust after it, go for it or you will regret it. IMHO The amount of $$ to spend is up to the beholder.
